One of a pair of Humber Staff Cars used by Field Marshall Montgomery "The Victory Car" hardly had an auspicious beginning to its career when it was dropped into forty feet of water whilst being unloaded at Mulberry Harbour. Montgomery insisted that the vehicle be retrieved, and within 24 hours the vehicle would be running perfectly once more. In less than 12 months the car would cover in excess of 60,000 miles.
Today "The Victory Car" can be found on display at the Museum of British Road Transport in Coventry.
RAM Models photographed the vehicle on one of its rare outings from the museum. Numbering 68 high-quality images we have covered all the areas which will allow the modeller to make their next scale project as accurate as possible.
