RAM Walkarounds Fairey Gannet T2 XA508

The Fairey Gannet which made its maiden flight in 1949 was the world’s first aircraft to fly with a double airscrew-turbine unit. The Gannet initially designed for anti-submarine warfare and torpedo bombing was operated by the Royal Navy and the Royal Australian Navy. Featuring in this walkaround is Gannet T2 XA508. The T2 variant was the dual control trainer version that taught aircrew to fly and operate the type. Today XA508 is the only surviving Gannet T2 in the world. RAM Models has photographed XA508 in great detail. Numbering 146 high quality images we have covered all the areas which will allow the modeller to make their next scale project as accurate as possible.
