RAM Walkarounds Percival Prentice T1 VR259/G-APJB

The Percival Prentice was designed in 1944 to meet Air Ministry Specification T.22/43 for a basic trainer to replace the Tiger Moth. Making its first flight on 31st March 1946 deliveries to the Central Flying School began in 1947 and to the RAF College and other Flying Training Schools in 1948. The Prentice served until 1955 when it was replaced by the Percival Provost.
